Rules

How Rank Arena works

Simple rules, enforced server-side, visible to everyone.

1. Points

  • Points are an internal promotional utility. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred between users, sold or converted to money.
  • You receive 100 promotional points once, after verifying your email.
  • You receive 100 promotional points for each eligible referral: a new member who signs up with your code or link and verifies their email.
  • Your wallet separates available points from points committed to listings. Committed points are locked to that listing permanently.
  • Purchasing points is not available while the platform is in demo mode. When it launches, purchases will be processed through a verified provider with signed, idempotent webhooks. Withdrawals will never exist.

2. Live Rank Battle

  • Each category (Website, Social profile, Mobile app, Affiliate offer) has its own board. Listings are ranked by total committed points.
  • Points are committed in steps of 100, up to 100,000 per action, only by the listing owner and only to approved listings.
  • Tie-break: equal totals keep the listing that reached that total first ahead. To pass the leader you always need strictly more points.
  • Example: #1 has 500, you have 300. You need 300 (3 × 100) to reach 600 and take #1.
  • Daily and weekly boards count only points committed inside the current UTC day or ISO week. All-time totals and wallet balances are never reset.
  • Simultaneous commits are processed one at a time per wallet and per listing inside database transactions. No points can be spent twice.

3. Fairness and transparency

  • Every commit, running total and rank change is published on the listing page with a timestamp.
  • Owners are notified when their listing is overtaken.
  • Emails, IP addresses, account details and payment information are private. Click counts use rotating hashes, never raw IPs.
  • Admins approve every listing and can hide content that is illegal, deceptive, adult, malware-related or otherwise unsafe.

4. Referral eligibility

  • Self-referrals and referrals of your own alternate accounts are rejected.
  • Signups from the same network as the referrer, and more than 20 rewarded referrals per day, are held for manual review.
  • Abuse leads to reversal of points, suspension and removal of listings.

5. Listing rules

  • Submit only URLs you own or are authorised to promote. One listing per normalised URL; tracking parameters are stripped.
  • Social profiles must be public profile URLs; apps must be Google Play or App Store listing URLs.
  • Affiliate offers must carry an accurate disclosure. Sponsored placements are always labelled.
  • Private-network, credentialed or non-HTTP destinations are rejected automatically.
